Bread Weekend with the Corners
Heading to North House Folk School in Grand Marais, MN
We Did It!!
We made bread - Brenda roamed the countryside on her bike - the weather was really quite delightful - maybe a little fog. We did miss those who couldn't make the trip.

Pictures!
Even though most pictures are not of baking bread - we did slave over that hot brick oven Friday & Saturday....Also found some great new places to eat.
Breakfast in Phillips - we were a big hit with the locals.
Dinner at the Angry Trout - he's not angry any more.
One of us had chicken!
All of us at the Angry Trout
Bea practices throwing her Pitas in the Oven.
And they were delicious!
A little picnic by the wayside on the way home!
There was a stop in Mellen - Looking for Sally

Louise - What clothes are appropriate for the weekend?
Relaxed? Jeans? Capri's? Short's? I think Julia always wears a dress in the kitchen?
Welcome Bea!!
Hopefully pooling all of our cooking knowledge will get us through the weekend!! I hope Brenda's car has lot's of space for delicious home made bread to bring home (maybe we can buy some)! Whose bringing the wine? Remember Bea likes wine that isn't dry.
